Hen Party Life Drawing Bournemouth
A Bournemouth hen weekend is usually built around the beach, which is fine until the weather turns or there’s a gap between the sand and the bars. Life drawing fills that gap indoors. A model comes to your holiday let, and it works the same in a July heatwave or a wet October.

Life drawing for a hen party
We had AJ come to do a life drawing class and he was fantastic from start to finish!
Alex at an 80ieth birthday party!
Alex, our Butler with Bum, was very good, professional, arrived on time and gave excellent service to everyone.
My hen party had an amazing experience
Ben was amazing—professional, organised and made the cocktail masterclass really fun.
The running order
- That morning your model confirms with our office, and shortly before the start he phones the organiser.
- He rings once more from outside the door. Answer quietly if the bride isn’t in on the plan.
- Drawing fills the opening 45 minutes. He gives out the materials, poses nude three or four different ways and keeps things going himself, as there’s no tutor.
- He disappears to a spare room and comes back dressed as a butler.
- Butler service takes the last 45 minutes: drinks, party games, his pick of the drawings and photos with everyone.
Pencils, A4 paper, rubbers and sharpeners for a group of 20 are part of the price, which is from £15 per person. Guests need their own surface to draw on, and first-timers do fine.

Holiday lets by the cliffs and the chines
Larger hen groups here tend to book holiday houses in Boscombe, Southbourne and Westbourne or apartments near the East Cliff and West Cliff. Plenty are sold on their sea views, which means big windows, glass doors and balconies. Lovely at breakfast, less helpful when a man is posing nude in the lounge. Lower the blinds on any side facing a road, a path or the neighbours.
The garden or deck is tempting in summer. It’s only suitable if it can’t be seen from next door or the street, and most can, so plan for indoors. Open-plan lounges are ideal: move the dining table back, sit people along the sofas and give him the middle of the floor.
Along the coast and inland
The class travels along the coast through Westbourne, Boscombe and Southbourne to Poole, Sandbanks, Christchurch and Highcliffe, and inland to Ferndown and Wimborne.
Weymouth, Dorchester and Lyndhurst in the New Forest are covered too, and the instant quote prices the booking once you give it the postcode.
Beach by day, class before dark
The natural slot is late afternoon, once everyone is back from the beach and showered. Allow an hour and a half for the class, or two hours on the longer booking, which is £50 more. Add the recommended hour’s margin, then head for the bars around Old Christchurch Road or the Triangle.
Pair the drawing with a mobile cocktail class. It runs for two hours, costs from £35 per person and needs at least 10 people. Booking both brings £25 off under the multi-activity discount.
More on the session itself is on the life drawing page for hen parties.

Bournemouth Life Drawing: Quick Answers
Can the class take place in the garden or beside the hot tub?
Only if the space is completely hidden from neighbours and the street, because the model poses nude and the venue must be out of public view. Indoors with the blinds down is the safer choice.
We’re in a hotel on the East Cliff, not a house. Will that work?
Yes. He travels to hotels, though a bedroom is rarely big enough for a group to draw in, so ask the hotel about a private function room. We can help with venue hire too.
Could he meet us at our beach hut?
No, sorry. A beach hut sits on a public promenade, and the class needs a private room out of sight plus somewhere for him to change. Use your accommodation instead.
