No. A Butler in the Buff stays in his apron, collar, cuffs and bow tie for the whole booking — bare bottom on show, everything else covered. If you want full nudity, book our hen party life drawing class, where a model poses nude for sketching.

The signature outfit is a black apron at the front, a white collar, white cuffs and a black bow tie — and nothing at the back. For a more covered look, butlers can wear smart black trousers or fitted boxer briefs instead; just ask when you book.

The minimum booking is 2 hours, and most parties book 2–3 hours. You can book longer, or ask on the night to extend if your butler is available — arranging extra time when you first book is the safest way to guarantee it.

Yes — we cover the whole of the UK, with butlers based in every major city and most towns, including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Bristol, Brighton, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Cardiff. Are Butlers in the Buff only for hen parties?

No. Hen parties are the most popular, but butlers are booked just as often for birthdays (21st to 90th), baby showers, girls’ nights in, engagement and divorce parties, garden parties, charity events and office socials. Any celebration works.

Can we book more than one butler?

Yes. One butler suits around 10–15 guests; for bigger parties we recommend two or more so drinks keep flowing and everyone gets attention. Tell us your group size and we’ll suggest the right number.

Do I need to provide anything for the butler?

Just the drinks and food you’d like served, and somewhere for him to change (a bathroom or spare room is fine). He arrives in smart clothes with his uniform, and he’ll serve whatever you provide — including cocktails if you give him the ingredients.

Can a Butler in the Buff come to a hotel, Airbnb or hired venue?

Yes — butlers attend homes, holiday rentals, hotel suites, hired rooms and private areas of bars. The venue must be private (not open to the public) and give permission; most do when you explain it’s a private party activity.

How far in advance should I book a Butler in the Buff?

Book 4–6 weeks ahead for a summer Saturday, which is our busiest time. Weekdays and off-season dates can often be booked with a few days’ notice, and we do take last-minute bookings when a butler is free. A non-refundable deposit, starting from £30 per activity, secures your date.
