Day Time Delights:

Start your hen weekend off in style by heading out to the shops. You’ll find your usual high street stores, boutiques, independent sellers, and markets that fill the streets, so you can find something original! For your standard high street stores, cafés and restaurants head to the Grafton for some girly weekend shopping. If you want to discover some beautiful boutiques and stores with a more individual style, take a stroll down Rose Crescent, Bridge Street or King Street. You might just find the perfect outfit for cocktails later in the evening!

Hen Party Punting:

How does a private tour sound? There are plenty of tours to choose from, you could even take a specified hen party tour and have the Punt decorated, remember to take some special treats for all your party to get stuck into. Why not take some games along to play whilst on board? You can download hen party games from Butlers in the Buff, or take some of your own. Or try one of these punting alternatives for all to enjoy on your Cambridge hen weekend.

English Tea:

Step off the river, put down those shopping bags and take a break. Take some time out to be positively English and have a good cuppa. And probably a selection of cakes of course! Cambridge has some exquisite cafés and tea rooms that would go down very well with all of your hens.

Galleries and Museums:

Take in the historical features Cambridge has to offer. Even if your hens aren’t usually the Museum types, the character of some of the buildings here will certainly be inspiring. Head over to The Fitzwilliam Museum and take a look around their impressive collections. The Polar Museum is another great way to spend a few hours, have a wander, and take in the history!

Energetic Ones:

If strolling around a museum or taking it easy is generally not your thing, that’s ok. There is plenty to do on your hen party that involves a much quicker pace! How about Quad Biking? Get the adrenaline pumping while you race against each other to see who will be crowned champion of the quad! If quad biking is a little too messy, try its cleaner self, Go Karting. Want the adrenaline rush but not the boiler suits? Try a seduction class to get the heart pumping. A good sense of humour and a spoonful of openness is essential to make these two hours as much fun as possible!

Not All About Going Out:

Going out on your hen party seems like the obvious answer but how about staying in? We know that image too well, you’re with your girls preparing for a night out, and you leave the house with piles of clothes on the bed and half-drank wine scattered in the bathroom! Relax. Take a breath. Why not book a cocktail masterclass? You’ll get a professional bartender, and the option to add on our easy-on-the-eye Butlers in the Buff Cambridge, three cocktails each and no stress of supplying anything. They come to you and even clean up before they leave!

Something Different:

Instead of taking Grandma to the clubs to teach her the new moves, try something a little different and do a Murder Mystery evening in the heart of Cambridge. Choose from a few different stories and solve the mystery of who did it! Everyone can get involved and with a few drinks along the way it makes for a fantastic evening of fun! If you want something different in the day try some crafty activities with your hens, you could take a ceramic painting class, make your own garter – or maybe make your own cocktail ring and wear them over your hen party weekend.

Where to Stay:

There are plenty of accommodation options in Cambridge whether you’re a small group or a larger one. Some various self-catering apartments or houses will accommodate you and your hens. Staying in a house all together can be a lot more fun, having your whole hen party in one place will create a great atmosphere and means you won’t be separated into small groups. Plus it means you can drink champagne and get ready together whilst singing at the top of your lungs in perfect harmony! If you have a more intimate hen group and would prefer to stay in the comfort of a hotel, you can choose from a list dotted around and in the centre of Cambridge. Perfect for you to be able to head out and explore as soon as you get there. Make sure you book your Butler in the Buff to serve a drink after checking in and if you are staying in a private house, have him carry your luggage in; no need to strain yourself!

Dinner Date:

If you are truly splashing out on your hen party, make a reservation at Cotto, their attention to detail is something to be in awe of. If you fancy something a little more homemade, take a look at Aromi’s gallery, their authentic Sicilian food is mouth-watering and edible on the move! Fancy something a little simpler? Try The Plough on the River, serving wonderful gastro-pub food. There’s plenty to choose from, you and your hens will be spoilt for choice!

Don’t forget Butlers aren’t just for evening entertainment, book yours to bring you champagne with breakfast, lunch or dinner and download our hen party game ideas to play over your party weekend!
