Girls Night in Christmas Drinks by Butlers in the Buff

We love Christmas as it means we can drink lots of cocktails without feeling guilty, we can throw and attend as many parties as we please and we can eat to our hearts desire! If you and the girls are planning a Christmas girl’s night in get-together then you’ve come to the right place as here at Butlers in the Buff we have some great girl’s night in Christmas drinks for you to enjoy. And no, this isn’t going to be all eggnog and Christmas punch – these girls night in cocktails are sophisticated and unique! We hope you enjoy.

Girls Night in Christmas Drink #1 – Peach Bellini

This cocktail is a classic and always a hit! It’s so easy to make and won’t break the bank.

Ingredients:

• Champagne (however much is needed for your amount of guests)
• Tinned peaches (1 tin per 5 glasses)

Method:

• Add the whole tin of peaches (and juice) into a liquidizer or food processor and blitz until smooth
• Divide the smooth peach mixture between you glasses – roughly a couple of centimetres in the bottom of each one
• Top up with champagne and serve immediately

Girls Night in Christmas Drinks #2 – Winter Sea Breeze

This is one of our favourite signature holiday cocktails – with its tanginess and crispness it’s a hit!

Ingredients (for one serving):

• 1/8 cup Vodka
• 1/8 cup grapefruit juice
• 2 tablespoons tonic syrup
• 1/4 cup soda water
• Handful of pomegranate seeds (around 12)
• 3 mint leaves for garnish

Method:

• Use a lowball glass and fill it 3/4 with ice
• Add Vodka, grapefruit juice and tonic syrup and stir
• Pour in soda water
• Garnish with pomegranate seeds and mint leaves

 

Girls Night in Christmas Drinks #3 – Jackberry Smash

For all you Jack Daniels lovers out there this is a new way to drink your chosen tipple!

Ingredients (for one serving):

• 1 shot of Jack Daniels
• ½ shot of Peach schnapps
• Muddles / crushed blackberries (not completely pureed but not whole)
• Lemon and lime soda to taste (we use Sprite)
• Small handful full blackberries
• Mint leaves (3 or 4)

Method:

• Add the crushed blackberries, Jack Daniels and Peach schnapps into a cocktail shaker
• Shake well and strain into tall glass or tall flute
• Top up with soda
• Garnish with blackberries (whole) and mint leaves

Girls Night in Christmas Drinks #4 – Raspberry Limoncello Prosecco

A classy cocktail for the prosecco lovers – perfect to serve with Christmas nibbles!

Ingredients (for six servings):

• 3 cups of chilled prosecco
• 1 cup Limoncello
• 1 cup of frozen raspberries
• Handful of fresh mint sprigs (roughly 6 sprigs)

Method:

• Add the prosecco and Limoncello to a large pitcher and whisk
• Add a couple of raspberries to the bottom of each glass
• Pour mixture over raspberries
• Garnish with mint sprigs
