Stratford-upon-Avon lies on the river Avon (incase the name didn’t give it away already) so why not book a boat trip for you and your hens to float down the river and get to know one another. It can be awkward on a hen party when you’re meeting new friends of your old friend, how far is too far, how rude is too rude? Take this opportunity to play some hen party games, or make up a little something of your own to bring everyone together. Relax, drink tea and feed on British nibbles like scones and sandwiches. And then move onto the strawberries and champagne, by which point everyone should be comfortable enough to make use of the hen party willy paraphernalia! If you fancied more of a booze cruise, you can do an evening cruise down the river, with dinner or nibbles and even a DJ or just your own ipod to entertain you. This would be the perfect pre-going out setting to have your pre-drinks and get into the party mood! If you are having a private boat cruise you could even book a Butler to pirate your ship for a couple of hours!Hire a Butler in the Buff
If you and your hens are quite the girl band, or maybe you have the ultimate boy band moves to throw around, there are various themed dance classes for you to get involved with! Practice your chanting with a cheerleading class or maybe you’re more into Grease, Thriller or how about going all English rose with the Pride and Prejudice dance class. Just think how these could be performed at the wedding itself. You know it would make great camera footage to look back on!
Get the creativity flowing between your hens on your Stratford-Upon-Avon hen party and get stuck into a hen party pottery class! It’s something a little different and will give your afternoon with some fun filled easy going entertainment. You don’t need to put too much thought into this activity so even if you are struggling a little from the night before, it shouldn’t be too much of a strain. This could make for a great idea for a gift for the bride to be, each make her a little something to remind her of the hen party and give them as a memento at the wedding.
After all these activities it’s probably a good idea to just take a moment to relax and unwind before hitting the bubbles and tequila shots to help you party the night away. Stratford in the summer (and winter) is beautiful and full of green garden areas you can lie down and forget your troubles whilst soaking up some rays. After your boat trip down the river, sit safely back on dry land and take the opportunity to get to know the group even better. The rude name tags you designed on the boat will help to break the ice but keep the bride on her toes with some more inventive game suggestions. If you do happen to be in Stratford in the height of summer, you’ll be pleased to know there are some great ice cream parlours right by the river too, so grab an incredibly large waffle cone filled with your chosen poison and eat quickly before it drips down your matching hen party t-shirts but not too quickly that you get brain freeze!

So enjoy a historical venture around the area before settling down to a sumptuous cocktail and evening meal whilst discussing with your hens what you would have been doing in their time.
